Do I need to do anything before you come?
Certain pests require more extensive preparation, but for any interior visit we recommend that you vacuum and clean up as much as clutter, especially off the floor (such as children’s toys), before we visit your home.
For a German Roach infestation, we request that you clean off all countertops in the kitchen as well as clean out all the cabinets, moving their contents to the dining room table or another room out of the way.
Will my family and pets need to leave home during the treatment?
For general pest control, typically your family and pets can remain in the home. If dogs or cats can be crated for the time of treatment or put out of the way it is best. For more concentrated treatments, such as German Roaches or Fleas, it is good for pets or small children to leave if possible for a few hours until the chemical dries. For a bed bug infestation, it is best for your family and movable pets to be out of the home until everything is dry (this could even be overnight). During any treatment, pets like fish, turtles, or birds should be covered with a cloth.
How long will it take?
Every job is different and depends on the size of the property, the problem being treated, and the conditions of the day.
Should I have my new home treated before or during construction?
We highly recommend having us treat your property before construction for protection against Subterranean Termites. Call before your slab is poured.
Are your technicians licensed?
Abiding by Texas State Law, all of our technicians have the appropriate commercial and non commercial licensing. In addition, we are a screened and approved HomeAdvisor member and Termidor applicator.
Is your service guaranteed?
We offer a limited guarantee in which we will come back if you are still seeing problems after treatment. However, in certain cases, the home will need to be treated more than once to take care of your issues. This is something that will be discussed with you ahead of time with our technicians.
Why should I have your service monthly or quarterly?
Scheduling regular visits ensures you are staying on top of the pest control in your home. You can think of it as a preventative measure that will take away the hassle of waiting for there to be a problem and then receiving treatment.
What preventative measures can I take between treatments?
We recommend cleaning up food immediately after eating in any room and general tidiness will go a long way.
How can I pay?
We accept checks, cash, and credit cards, including all cards bearing a Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, JCB, or UnionPay logo.
Why should I choose Bricker Pest Control?
Pest control is not just something we do, it’s something we understand and bring a formal education to. This knowledge, along with a genuine interest in insects and the enjoyment of meeting new people, separates us from other companies.
After all these years, we still like nothing better than helping our friends and neighbors enjoy their homes without the worry of pests invading their property.
